I've been writing the new record in various places for some time now. I'll be settling by the sea for a bit and thought I would get back aboard the internet as the record takes shape.
I’m down in the dressing room at the Hollywood Bowl, listening to Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter soundcheck. You know, normal wednesday stuff.

We’re at a festival in sunny Poland today. Found this in a fridge backstage. Half of me is repulsed, the other half entranced.
“Roller Sushi” - going in the same compartment as R Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet” and jumpsuits.

We did a gig last night for the Baltimore Lifeboats. It was in a beautiful amphitheatre in the Glebe Gardens.

I found this book in the house this morning, propped against the bookshelf. I’m taking it as a good omen for both the record and health preservation.
