Tomo's Phlog #16, UK Tour: The Luck Of The Donkeys

28th April 2009

The Luck Of The Donkeys

Day one of our Spring UK run finds us ready, rested and raring to go.

We traveled from Belfast to Scotland and found that forgoing the usual stresses involved with airport check-in versus the relative ease of the ferry was one of the best moves we've made. Bravo Una.

Once on Scottish shores our drive up the coast allowed us fine views and a perfect sunset. Unfortunately, as I was driving, I didn't get any photos of either. Never the less, it was a fine and relaxed start to the tour and I think we all agree now that flying is truly for the birds.

"Phlog"? I s'pose that sounds better than Bloto - whatever you call it, thanks for continuing to do it, Tomo.

You know, if the rest of the band was in the background snapping their fingers, the street crossing shot could almost be a promo photo for the Turnberry Community Theatre's production of "West Side Story"...'breeze it, buzz it, easy does it, turn off the juice boy'

Bev picked two good donkey thumbnails (above), either of which would make for a sweet UK tour logo.

Have a great time on your Luck of the Donkeys Tour! Stay cool boy...
